This dataset provides a hydrogeological cross-section of the Galilee subregion along the extent of the Burdekin river basin. The cross-section is to be viewed using Esri ArcScene software.
A cross section line was traced along the boundary of the Burdekin river basin polygon, and a 1m buffer applied to convert the line into a polygon feature.
Top of formation elevation raster layer for each hydrogeological formation of the Galilee subregion, including the 1 second DEM, were converted to TIN layers.
The 'Extrude Between' tool was used to create cross section GeoVolume features along the cross section polygon, for each hydrogeological layer.
