'Ships of Opportunity' (SOOP) is a facility of the Australian 'Integrated Marine Observing System' (IMOS) project. This data set was collected by the SOOP sub-facility 'Sensors on Tropical Research Vessels' aboard the RV Solander Trip 5305.
Instrumentation was deployed for measuring Fluorescence at 1.9m on trip 5305 from 24 Feb 2011 through to 11 Mar 2011, and the installation was located at/on RV Solander. Sensor deployed was a Wet Labs FLNTU-RT Optical sensor (Turbidity and Fluorescence) manufactured by Wetlabs, model FLNTU-RT.
Instrumentation was deployed for measuring Seawater Intake Temperature at 1.9m on trip 5305 from 24 Feb 2011 through to 11 Mar 2011, and the installation was located at/on RV Solander. Sensor deployed was a SBE 38 remote temperature sensor manufactured by Sea-Bird Electronics, Inc., model SBE 38.
