This dataset and its metadata statement were supplied to the Bioregional Assessment Programme by a third party and are presented here as originally supplied.

Wetlands mapped from remote sensing in the Northern Territory portion of the Lake Eyre Basin.

Purpose

To indicate the locations of wetlands in the Northern Territory.

Dataset History

Data supplied by Angus Duguid (Wetland Scientist, Aquatic Health Unit of the Water Resources Division, Department of Land Resource Management, email: angus.duguid@nt.gov.au). Methods are outlined in Barnetson J and Duguid A (2008) NT-LEB Wetland. Wetland polygons were sourced from the Revised Mapping of Wetland Extent (Northern Territory portion of the Lake Eyre Basin).
