This dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from multiple source datasets. The source datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.
The coal mine extents are derived from digitized mine footprints and footprint information supplied from DTI (see lineage). The footprints here represent the mine pits and include Werris Creek (which was included in the surface water modelling, but not in the groundwater modelling. See the Namoi 2.3 product for details http://data.bioregionalassessments.gov.au/product/NIC/NAM/2.3).
