The dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from multiple source datasets. The source datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.
Spatial lateral extent of the Hunter groundwater model area and production bores used the the Hunter groundwater model.
Dataset includes four shapefiles.
a polygon layer of the GW model boundary,
a point shapefile of the boundary vertices,
a polyline version of the GW model boundary and;
a point shapefile of the GW model production bores used in the simulations
The dataset was created by exporting text files from the groundwater model after calibration and simulation were complete. Text files were converted to excel format then subsequently to shapefiles.
