Abstract / Description:

This dataset provides mapping of the 2009 extent and type of wetlands at 1:100,000 scale across Queensland.

Purpose:

To report and monitor wetland extent and type and change in extent and type

Lineage statement:

This information is a compilation of wetland point data including springs and other point wetland features (rockholes) from the following sources 1. Queensland Herbarium spring location database (SPRLOC) 2011; 2. Queensland Springs database - version 5 2008 (Fensham and Fairfax, 2008); 3. Silcock, J. (2009), Identification of Permanent Refuge Waterbodies in the Cooper Creek & Georgina-Diamantina River Catchments for Queensland and South Australia; 4. Condamine Alliance, (2009), Springs of the Condamine Catchment (CA06019) ; 5. Eddie, C. Boobook Consultants. (2009).
