A set of datasets outlining the various Hydrogeological boundaries. These include:
QLD Alluvium - Top of lower alluvial aquifer boundary of the Lower Balonne area, Southern Queensland
Discharge Zone - Potential upward discharge zone in the Condamine alluvium
Northern Namoi Paleochannel - the Northern Namoi Paleochannel is depicted as a groundwater drain in the Narrabri Formation. The drain is generated by the large amount of groundwater pumping for irrigation mostly from the Gunnedah Formation over the Lower Namoi Valley but especially in the palaeochannel.
NSW Alluvium - Hydrogeologic alluvium features of Northern NSW. Shows areas where a) head in Quaternary Alluvial aquifer is higher than the Aquifer; b) Head in Quaternary alluvial aquifer is lower; c) Quaternary alluvial aquifer is absent or unsaturated; d) Absent
St George Lower Alluvium Aquifer - Top of lower alluvial aquifer boundary of the Lower Balonne area, Southern Queensland.
Chamberlain, T., Wilkinson, K. (2004) National Action Plan for Salinity and Water Quality: Salinity investigations using airborne geophysics in the Lower Balonne area, Southern Queensland
Hillier, J. R. (2010) Groundwater connections between the Walloon Coal Measures and the Alluvium of the Condamine River, A Report for the Central Downs Irrigators Limited. This area represents the upwards discharge zone of the alluvial aquifer
Kellett J and Stewart G (2013) Hydraulic connectivity between the Quaternary alluvium and GAB aquifers in the Surat Basin. Poster presentation to the GAB researcher forum, Adelaide, 27-28 March 2013. GeoCat 75706,Canberra, Geoscience Austrailia
