The dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from multiple source datasets. The source datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.
These data are assessment units overlaid with mine footprint information including mine title, future, and inclusion in groundwater model. This dataset was provided to IMIA for overly queries in NAM 3-4 analyses.
Data were derived using a series of GIS processes. Assessment units (AU) intersecting mine footprints were extracted from the original assessment units data. Relevant fields (mine title, future, sw_mod, gw_mod) were added. Fields were assigned values according to the mine types they intersected, AUs were duplicated where they intersected more than one mine title or future.
