The dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from multiple source datasets. The source datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.
This dataset contains the groundwater quality data for the NSW part of the Clarence-Moreton Basin. The data are sourced from the NSW state groundwater databases. The data were reorganized by aquifers based on the results of aquifer assignment. The overall quality of the chemistry data is highly variable. However, no quality check was conducted for this dataset from the point of view of geochemistry.
This dataset was compiled through the following process:
Filter the data using the spatial extent of the Clarence-Moreton Basin;
Aquifer assignment. Seven screen codes are used to indicate different bores in terms of their spatial relationship with a particular aquifer.
