This Assessment Units dataset is a 500m x 500m vector polygon ('vector grid') dataset that was generated over the Gloucester subregion starting at the whole kilometer to ensure grid lines fall exactly on the whole kilometer. This grid is intended for use in the GLO Subregion only and it covers the area that is 1.5 km greater than the Gloucester Preliminary Assessment Extent (PAE). It was derived to perfectly align with the interpolated groundwater model results produced by the Gloucester Analytical Element Model. The unique ID field for each vector polygon tile is stored in both the AUID (text) field and the au500_id (integer) field. The dataset is in Australia Albers (GDA94) (EPSG 3577).
The Assessment Units are intended for use in transferring data between the AEM groundwater model and all the other relevant datasets including the assets and landscape classes.
