This dataset contains the processed Hydrology (HYD) data collected on Courageous cruise 040. The voyage took place off the coast of New South Wales during October 1978. Four hydrology transects were completed, offshore from Kiama, Ulladulla, Bermagui and Mallacoota. This dataset has been processed and is archived within the CSIRO Marine and Atmospheric Research Data Centre in Hobart. Courageous on-voyage hydrology data are typically obtained from water samples collected in Nansen bottles at various depths. Parameters measured comprise some or all of the following: temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, phosphate, nitrate, silicate, and nitrite. For further details consult the Divisional Data Centre.
