Dataset: Northern Territory Waterbodies - PED



This dataset and its metadata statement were supplied to the Bioregional Assessment Programme by a third party and are presented here as originally supplied.

Contains a medium scale representation of the topographic mapping features for parts of Australia. The data includes the following features:

Culture - roads, railways, towns, mines, State borders, buildings. Drainage - coastline, reefs, streams, lakes, tanks, bores. Relief - contours, spot heights. Vegetation.


National topographic purposes.

Dataset History

Water body features selected from the Geodata Topo-250k (Series 2) Topographic Data (Custodian: Geoscience Australia) and clipped to the geographic extent of the Northern Territory portion of the Pedirka Basin. Lineage is consistent with the Geofabric Surface Cartography V2.1.1 (Custodian: Bureau of Meteorology).
