The dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from multiple source datasets. The source datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.
The dataset contains shapefiles and text tables summarising areas and runoff statistics for selected catchments in the SSB subregion. The selected catchments were projected and their areas calculated in ArcGIS. Catchments boundaries were used to summarise the runoff characteristic according to the Choudhury implementation of the Budyko framework. Runoff statistics are reported in gigalitres (GL), millimetres (mm) and percentages. These tables describe the relative runoff contribution of Western Coalfield catchments containing an underground coal mine in wider regional context.
