Description

The 'Facility for Automated Intelligent Monitoring of Marine Systems' (FAIMMS) is a facility of the Australian 'Integrated Marine Observing System' (IMOS) project. This data set was collected by the FAIMMS Great Barrier Reef Sensor Network and contains data from the following sensor deployments:

There have been 3 deployments for the Salinity data set.

Instrumentation was deployed for measuring Salinity at 4.3m from 10 Jun 2010 through to 05 Sep 2010, and the installation was located at/on Orpheus Island Sensor Float 1 Latitude:-18.60905 - Longitude:146.4879. Sensor deployed was a Seabird SBE37-IM MicroCat CTD with Pressure manufactured by Sea-Bird Electronics, Inc., model 37IMP.
