The dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from multiple source datasets. The source datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.
Summarises the surface water modelling results for Hunter subregion as six water balances at two model nodes. The model nodes are 6 (stream gauge 210001 on Hunter River) and 41 (stream gauge 210006 on Goulburn River). Water balances were generated for baseline and CRDP for 3*30 year periods: 2013-2042, 2043-2072 and 2073-2102 10th, 50th and 90th percentiles are provided for each variable.
The variables included are: rainfall, streamflow, mine water discharge, extractions from the stream network and a residual.
This dataset is a requisite dataset for the BA 2.5 Water balance products. These water balances are a way of summarising changes in key components of the hydrological system from coal resource development for specified areas and periods of time.
The Hunter surface water balances were generated from Hunter surface water inputs and modelling results. Outputs from the model were processed as CSV files and compiled into an excel spreadsheet summarising the water balance for each of the two locations.
The spreadsheet summarises the surface water modelling results for Hunter subregion as six water balances at two model nodes. The model nodes are 6 (stream gauge 210001 on Hunter River) and 41 (stream gauge 210006 on Goulburn River).
