This layer is the extent of regions for the Bioregional Assessments of the impacts of coal seam gas and coal mining development on water resources published in the Office of Water Science Map in January 2013. The map & constituent layers were developed by the Federal Department of Environment & Heritage (ERIN).

This dataset was originally derived from the Coal Basins layer (Geoscience Australia) with Natural Resource Manangement boundaries and Catchment Management Authority boundaries.
