'Ships of Opportunity' (SOOP) is a facility of the Australian 'Integrated Marine Observing System' (IMOS) project. This data set was collected by the SOOP sub-facility 'Sensors on Tropical Research Vessels' aboard the RV Solander Trip 5759.
Instrumentation was deployed for measuring Salinity at 1.9m on trip 5759 from 29 Jul 2013 through to 05 Aug 2013, and the installation was located at/on RV Solander. Sensor deployed was a SBE 21 conductivity cell manufactured by Sea-Bird Electronics, Inc., model SBE 21.
Instrumentation was deployed for measuring Fluorescence at 1.9m on trip 5759 from 29 Jul 2013 through to 05 Aug 2013, and the installation was located at/on RV Solander. Sensor deployed was a Wet Labs FLNTU-RT Optical sensor (Turbidity and Fluorescence) manufactured by Wetlabs, model FLNTU-RT.
