The dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from multiple source datasets. The source datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.
This dataset is a point shapefile representing a subset of monitoring gauges for the Hunter subregion that shows geographical locations of simulation nodes used in the Hunter River surface water model. There are 65 nodes corresponding to the selected gauge locations.
These two simulation nodes are used to simulating the Wallarah underground mine footprint impact on streamflow in the Wyong River
The dataset is a combination of the two input datasets including a subset of data for the Hunter that was extracted from the Bureau's hydstra system and two additional gauges located on the Wyong River. Simulation nodes were added in locations in which the model will provide simulated streamflow.
