Newcastle Cycleways Movement Inc (NCM) is a band of people committed to improving conditions for cycling in Newcastle and Lake Macquarie. Methodology notes: For counts March 2011 to October 2014, 2 hour counts were conducted between 7am and 9am. October 2013 count for site ‘Tramway Track [NE] / Entrance to TAFE [E] / Frederick Street [S]’ was or 1 hour only.
For August 2016, a 1 hour count was conducted between 7.30am and 8.30am. August 2016 count was a cold dry morning after a week of rain.
