This dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Program from other datasets created by the program. The dataset contains assessment units corresponding to where additional groundwater drawdown in the regional water table of greater than 0.2m at the 95th percentile level.
Assessment units corresponding to where 95th percentile additional groundwater drawdown (acrd) in the regional watertable was greater then 0.2m were extracted through relating the regional watertable relational table with additional drawdown values from corresponding groundwater model layers and selecting based on drawdown values. These data were used as input to the IMIA analysis database for MBC 3-4 overlay queries. Coal resource areas (mine footprints) were not excluded from this area.
